Cec is the winner of the quilt!  Congratulations!

Years ago HDPA members painted squares for two quilts and several pillows for a fund raiser. Kate Dowd was our President. Her sister lived in Ireland and was a member of a Quilt Society. We sent the squares to them and they made the quilts. They kept one of the quilts and sent one back to us. We held a fundraiser and Marcy Crowl won the quilt. It has never been used and she has given it back to us so we may again use it as a fundraiser. The quilt measures 42” wide by 58” long and it has a pocket at the top for hanging it. You may buy door prize tickets for $10.00 each from Janet Gropp (303-912-0943) and we will draw the winner at the December Zoom meeting.

High Plains Decorative Artists, generally meet on the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM. Our meeting location is at the Littleton School Administration Building (South entrance), located at 5776 Crocker Street, Littleton, Colorado. See our Meetings/Event page for driving directions.

High Plains Decorative Artists was founded for the purpose of pursuing the goals of the Society of Decorative Painters on a local level by coming together for learning, an exchange of ideas and information. General meetings are followed by an informative program related to some form of decorative painting. Other activities include demonstrations, weekend seminars taught by nationally known teachers, "paint-ins," philanthropic activities, social and educational gatherings and tours. HPDA membership includes painters of all abilities and interests in various mediums.

We welcome visitors to any of our meetings.
